Halloween 2011

A tale of two pumpkins in a hurry to get where they were going. Well, they got there fast enough. I hope they’re happy and have a nice long rest.

In the prime of their lantern careers.

So young. So fresh.
We got these for free and carried them home by bike.
They are a little green, not fully ripened.

Over the hill
You can see his bite is not as strong, and
his teeth are not as sharp as they used to be.

Gettin’ older
The pumpkin lantern regrets not using
sunscreen in its youth.

On Halloween Night
The pumpkin lanterns summoned their
strength to do one last show.

The old geezers are looking cranky in the days after Halloween.

Wrinkled, saggy, burnt, and not happy.

Flat.

Going to that great pumpkin field in the sky.
